Bisbee is a place where you can have a peaceful afternoon walk around this little town which has some really nice historic buildings. I drove 200 miles to this place yesterday to meet other photographers from Arizona. Special thanks to Kadie and Joe to put together this Trash The Dress shoot. It was a very nice getaway for those of us who live in Phoenix area. You know what I mean if you know the temperature difference between Phoenix and Bisbee:)
It’s great to meet new friends in the shoot. We all had a lot fun especially when it was raining heavily. One of the models Wendy trashed her dress which stimulated some of us to trash our ‘cameras’ as well. Thanks for the tips from Kadie about bring plastic bags to cover our gears. Our models are top notch which you can tell from the pictures. One of the model Lauren is also a photographer who drove all the way from Prescott. (Correction, his husband Shaun was actually the driver). The other model Amber did a wonderful job in front of the camera. Kadie shot her wedding in Tucson last year. Too bad it was really pouring towards the end and I didn’t get a a chance to shoot the other models.
According to Kadie and Joe. They plan to host this meet periodically to let local photographers to network and learn. I think this is a very good idea and I’m looking forward to the next meet.

Amber in the vistor center while we were waiting for the rain to stop.

Beautiful eyes…

A happy bride

A different angle of Amber with a different feel!

What a classic post! We were inside the restaurant waiting for the rain to stop. The manager allowed us to use their waiting area for shooting. Of coz we didn’t waste any time there.

Amber was showing off her wedding dress.

Wendy did a great job in the rain while vehicles were passing by.

Lauren on the other side of the camera today. What a relax pose!

Lauren and Shaun are a great couple!

These are some behind-the-scene shots. You can tell how we ‘trash the camera’. I also caught Joe and Kadie before the shoot.

It was great to shoot with Casia and Erin. I caught them chimping while shooting Lauren and Shaun.
I know the Gin family for almost 10 years since we moved to Arizona. They are leaving Arizona very soon. So we decided to do a photoshoot before their move. We did the shoot in a local park. Even though the weather was warm and humid at 7am, we all had a great time in the park.
I also try a new action from ATN central in this shoot. It gives some fashion magazine look to it.
Remember to check out the slideshow at the end!

Happy Family:)
