I’m so happy that my post about the Docha Vida event got published in The Invitation Lady site. Rikki and Sarah are the artists behind this great blog. They design fabulous invitation card, programs, place cards, menus, table numbers and seating arrangement boards. Make sure to check out their site as well!

I’m honor to help my friends Mary & Dewey to capture their wedding. The best part is that I’m a 2nd shooter so I can freely enjoy photography on that day without extra pressure:) Also I got to enjoy the yummy prime ribs dinner! Thanks for my friend Bruce to let me help as a 2nd shooter.
It’s a blessing to witness the marriage of this couple. May God bless them for their marriage!

Got a chance to visit the Docha Vida in downtown Chandler. It’s a collection of merchants in downtown Chandler providing services for wedding. Cicely from Life Design Event Planning put together some amazing table arrangment in Inspirador. It’s my first time meeting Cicely, I can tell she is fabulous, and her team is a very talented in decor and planning. Great to see some much going on in downtown Chandler! The beautiful flowers are provided by Blume Events LLC.

.It is a beautiful day in Chandler. I have the chance to photograph the Dwiyono family in Ocotillo Golf Resort. It’s a mini family reunion for them. We have so much fun running around the golf resort. The weather is a little cold (for Arizona) but their happiness generates a lot energy!

In December, we spent several weeks in Hong Kong with friends and family. It was a wonderful trip because I got to take my kids to experience the culture in Asia. I did haul my photography gears. I was stoked when Cathay Pacific check-in counter told me that my carry-on bag is overweight. Even though my ThinkTank Airport International suitcase well fits the dimension of their carry-on requirement. They only allows 7kg (15 lbs) for each carry-on bag. I ended up have to store some of the lenses into cartoon boxes they provided to avoid checking-ing them…
With all the gears I bought, of course I didn’t miss the chance to do some location photography over there. One of my friend suggested the old Kai Tai Airport, there is an airport fire station in there which was burned down last year. We got there with all the gears and our model Manis. She loves being photographed and we had a blast!

At last, we decided to take a group shot, it was around noon time and the sun was extremely bright. We had to put both flashes in max power to get the effect we want.
