Amber + Truman | 1st Anniversary

June 29, 2009

It meant to celebrate Amber and Truman’s 1st anniversary back in March. Due to various reasons, we did not get together in March until a hot summer day in June. Amber and Truman are real troopers. Even though it’s extremely hot and humid, they really enjoy each other. I’m glad to see them growing in their marriage and I wish the best for them!

Headshots

June 26, 2009

Alejandro asked me if I can do some headshots for him. Of course! We spent couple hours in Mesa Arts Center. It’s a great place for photography! It has a lot of building structures and colorful walls. Weather is warming up this week in Phoenix but I’m glad we got some great photos! One thing I learned from this shoot is that I need to get a pass to photograph there:)

Phoenix NACE 3rd Annual Event Elements Competition

June 23, 2009

Had a chance to photograph the Phoenix NACE 3rd annual Event Elements Competition. The title is “Confectionary Creations & Table Top Decor Competition”. Life Design Events and The Invitation Lady spent countless hours in their table decoration. I love all the details in their decor, the RED is very eye catching. The theme of their table is Harajuku Style. Harajuku style is a Japanese fashion adopted by the teenagers and young adults in the Harajuku area and its side streets which have many boutiques, trendy stores and used clothes shops. I wish the bestfor Cicely and Rikki for this competition!

Venue: Arizona Grand Resort

Happy Father’s Day!

June 22, 2009

Happy Father’s day! I’m so blessed being a dad with two wonderful children and a lovely wife:) I got some cutest gifts yesterday for daddy’s day. I kind of know something is coming weeks ago because Brian couldn’t help to tell me since two weeks ago. It’s a challenge for a 4 years old to keep the secret for weeks but he did it. It’s a surprise to me and I love the cards made by my daughter, my son, and my wife. My daughter believes I’m “The Best Photographer”. I’m so proud of her creativity!

The hand painted wooden planes is a total surprise for me. They are so cute! Very nice paint job.

Father’s day sermon from our church talked about wisdom from Ecclesiastes 7. One of our tasks being a father is to pass our wisdom our children. It’s a good reminder for every father in world.

Unleashing Creativity

June 7, 2009

In general, people think creativity is a talent. It only comes with certain people. It has a totally new definition from the documentary film “Unleashing Creativity“. It was created by Phyllis Lane & Rodrigo Coelho. Phyllis and Rodrigo are also the creators of Couture Book, an unique album design house. From idea to shooting to the completion of the film, it’s done in a month which is unheard of. This film was created to raise money for Free Arts of Arizona. Inspirador in downtown Chandler held the premiere.
