Esther + Ben : Engaged!

Esther & Ben are getting married in June. They have so much fun in front of the camera. This is a special session for myself because I did the entire shoot in film, yes it’s film. I really like the outcome especially I don’t need to spend time photoshop them at all. Love the vivid color and the smoothness:) All the pictures come straight from the photo-lab who develops and scans from the film directly! What a time-saving workflow,… for me:)

Thuy & Justin – Engaged

Thuy and Justin were in Phoenix for a few days visit. They are getting married in 2010 Summer. I’m excited for them!

Shot a portrait in this location a month ago, but it was in a different time of the day. Totally different feel.

Justin told me he is not good in posing, but I guess he look great.

Brittany & Dustin | Trash The Dress

Brittany and Dustin are traveling back and forth between Phoenix and Mexico. We’ve been talking about a shoot to celebrate their 1st anniversary for months. Finally they are in town just in time to get it done before their 2nd anniversary in October. They are super sweet couple and you can totally see it from their smiles:) Brittany wanted to do a Trash The Dress shoot and it went very well except a little accident happened. Of course her lovely husband Dustin jumped into the water to save her.

Amber + Truman | 1st Anniversary

It meant to celebrate Amber and Truman’s 1st anniversary back in March. Due to various reasons, we did not get together in March until a hot summer day in June. Amber and Truman are real troopers. Even though it’s extremely hot and humid, they really enjoy each other. I’m glad to see them growing in their marriage and I wish the best for them!

I had the opportunity to shoot with a group of AZ photographers in Coon’s Bluff. It’s a nice little park with beautiful desert trees in Tonto National Forest. I had a great time photographing Mindy & Kevin’s engagement session in downtown Chandler. Mindy & Kevin are so natural in front of the camera. It seems like Mindy has done modeling because her pose is so nice and natural. Kevin is also great I guess because he is an actor from Arizona Renaissance Festival. I just can’t wait for their wedding in 2009…

Kristin & Howard

I met Kristin and Howard the first time during the weekend. Kristin first contacted me few weeks ago for photographing their engagement pictures. They like having the shoot done in their lovely home in Scottsdale. Kristin and Howard are so sweet. I asked Howard the things he likes about Kristin and he said she has a good heart:) They have a cat named ‘Wizzy’. Kristin requested me to photograph Wizzy as well but he is a shy cat and he doesn’t seem to like having a camera pointing at him…
